Lead and direct the guard force in accordance with the site Security Plan and assist in the assessment or risk and development of the plan. ▪ Conduct training as specified by the Company training directive to ensure that guards comprehend their role, their responsibilities as security officers and are competent in the use of equipment assigned to them.
▪ Have a full working knowledge of Company’s non-technical and technical security systems, which include, but is not limited to: Lenel and Gatekeeper Software, FIDO, UVSS, Rapiscan and walk through metal detector systems.
▪ Comply with Company Standing Operating Procedures and the policies and procedures laid down in the Quality Management System to the extent that Company operations are consistent with the demands of Standard PSC.1-2012.
▪ Ensure that all members of the guard are fully appraised of the prevailing threat and that they are prepared for incidents arising in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
▪ Ensure that all members of the guard respect International Humanitarian Law and International Human Rights Law in all aspects of their work.
▪ Liaise between Company, the guard and client personnel, the Site Security Manager
