Deputy Security Analyst

• Constantly monitor available sources to collect, compile and report information including incidents and trends.

• Prepare and disseminate regular reporting and updates to the Regional Security Analyst.

• Provide timely thematic and/or area-based access analysis based on operational needs of the organization.

• Support the security team in analyzing the latest developments in RI and how these are likely to impact programme implementation operations.

• Maintain a high level of preparedness vis-a-vis predicted contextual fluctuations operationally.

• Draft analysis, correspondence, planning documents, after-action reviews, and other professional white papers and articles as required.

• Understand, monitor, and remain current on geo-political developments impacting humanitarian crises globally, with a primary focus on the Middle East region.

• As required provide professional presentations, briefings and training to RI Humanitarian teams, including senior leaders.

• Advise and report.

• Other related tasks that may from time to time.
