Conducts and coordinates personal protection operations for the designated official when on duty.
• Remains vigilant and alert in case of any threat to the protected person and acts accordingly.
• Conducts all personal protection security operations as outlined in the personal protection management guidelines.
• Coordinates all activities with relevant parties to include the Security Operations Unit and other appropriate security organizations, as required.
• Monitors prevailing local security conditions and trends and provide advises on security related issues.
• Whenever necessary, supervises drivers attached to the Close Protection Unit in the performance of their assigned duties.
• Operates all personal protection equipment and ensures equipment readiness.
• Conducts and attends training sessions on personal protection subjects.
• Conducts routine physical inspection of facilities.
• Performs other duties, as assigned.
